Also, this will be my first entry to the blog, hurrah! Today's FOTD is a shimmery neutral look, for the celebration of Eid Mubarak. :) My parents might die of a heart attack if I did something outrageous today. :P

Review: Revlon Double Twist Mascara

After seeing the commercial a few times for this commercial. I decided I had to try it because the brush looked so freakin' cool! So I went out and spent the $8 on it and came home and tried it on immediately.
I was very very disappointed with this mascara. For one thing, it's a total waste of product. Every time you pull the wand out of the tube it brings out half of the tube of mascara with it..so it's all disgusting and goopy when it comes out. Also, IT CLUMPS TO ALL HOLY HELL. Even after you wipe the excess off the wand before applying. My lashes were so DISGUSTING looking after applying it.
The brush looks like it was a genius idea..but IT'S NOT. It's like half of the plastic type of wand that you see with lash blast, last exact, etc..and half of a normal brush..and it's just NOT GOOD.
So I give this mascara a big thumbs down. If you've been thinking about buying it, DON'T BOTHER. It's not worth the $7-$8 it costs to buy it.

Dry Martini Nail Laquer - Revisited

I like Dry Martini by itself, but I know some of you are like EW. That is dirty looking. hahah..
But, I was thinking earlier today..I wonder how it would look with Reflects Antique Gold over top of it? Well, OMIFUK IT IS DEFINITELY SOME HOT SHIT (hahahahahahha, pun intended). :P
So for those of you who own Dry Martini but do not like it. I suggest wearing it with Reflects Antique Gold over it. It comes out bronze-y looking and I'm really digging it. :)

Dry Martini Nail Laquer - MAC Cosmetics

So I picked up Dry Martini Nail Laquer from the Nail Trend F/W '09 collecton by MAC.
I picked this nail polish over the others because of it's very UNIQUE color. Out in the sunlight it looks very "Army Green", but indoors it kind of takes on the color of SHIT BROWN. I'm being serious. However, I STILL LIKE IT. I think it goes well with my skintone! With that said, here is a picture of my nails right after I first put it on..and sorry.. I got it all over my cuticles..because I suck at life. :P

this is the first fotd I've posted in AWHILE.
It's crappy late night photos that I just took. :P
Don't mind my eyebrows, they're a mess.
I've been growing them out..I just don't know what I will do with them now. lol.

I feel as my eyeliner isn't up to par for me..because I am usually pretty damn good at it.
However, this was my first time using the Penultimate eyeliner. So..yeah. hahah.
